Based in Chillicothe, OH, Psilly Threads was born out of a love for creativity, sustainable fashion, and self-expression. We rescue forgotten vintage garments, laces, and doilies, turning them into one-of-a-kind wearable art designed to make you feel completely confident, empowered, and seen.
How our creative journey began
I have always loved crafting, crocheting, and sewing. When my husband began handcrafting durable hacky sacks for his coworkers—which quickly grew into our partner brand, Psilly Sacks—our creative circle took notice. Friends fell in love with my custom clothing and handmade crochet accessories, giving me the inspiration and courage to launch Psilly Threads. Today, we work side by side to bring sustainable, joy-filled handmade creations to life.
Reimagining thrifted treasures
Where others see a worn garment or discarded home linen, we see endless potential. We hunt for vintage doilies, pillowcase lace, and distinctive fabric remnants to weave into each boho piece. Every stitch, pin, and patch is placed with intention, creating unique upcycled clothing and crochet items that celebrate individuality and personal freedom without judgment.
Our dream of a community barter shop
Fashion should be accessible, inclusive, and community-driven. Our ultimate dream is to open a physical brick-and-mortar barter thrift shop and boutique.
